Closed Issue: NuGet must never open web browser without user's consent. [3030]

Every time Visual Studio updates NuGet, it opens my web browser to show me the http://nuget.org page. This is disastrous! I hate it with a passion. A program must NEVER EVER open user's browser unless he explicitly clicked some link.

I've lost lots of research work several times.
The scenario is simple: I'm in the middle of a big web research having found and opened a lot of tabs in my browser. Then I need to reboot. I close my browser (to reopen it later and restore my session). But before restarting I see that Visual Studio has some updates. I install the updates (which frequently include a new point release of NuGet) and suddenly NuGet reopens my browser to show me it's homepage (which is rather dumb as I've already seen it many times) and all my tabs are GONE!!! (IE is rarely able to restore the session if it was launched with and URL) You've ruined my work and my research!!!

Please modify the NuGet Visual Studio package and the Extension manager to NEVER open browser by itself. Just ask the user "The updated version of NuGet was successfully installed. If you want to read the release notes visit _http://nuget.org_"
Comments: This issue has already been fixed.
